Our honey
When we remove the suppers of honey from our hives we try to keep the handling of the honey to a minimum. This ensures the honey is as close to its natural state in the hive as possible. It is uncapped, extracted, filtered and bottled which all helps to keep the goodness in the honey.
We sell our delicious honey in 227g/8oz jars and 340g/12oz jars. Pure honey will granulate or become solid in cool weather. This condition is in fact the best proof of its quality. It can easily be restored to its liquid state by standing the jar in hot water, first loosening the cap. The heating of the water should continue until the honey becomes liquid. The jar should stand on strips of wood so that there is water below as well as around the jar.
Our honey is sold directly to the public and through selected outlets. We want to meet our customers as much as possible and answer any questions or queries that they might have. If you have any questions about our honey, please do contact us via the Contact Us page.
